Motivating & Developing Employees through Situational Leadership

We all understand that it’s part of a manager’s role to provide direction, constructive feedback and positive recognition for his/her employees.

But how much of each is the “right” amount? How do you know when you’re providing too much – or too little – direction or support?

Constructing Excellence in the North East in conjunction with BananaPark Consultants are delighted to invite you to this seminar which will teach managers a process for managing and developing people by modifying their own leadership “style” according to the needs of each individual employee.

The goal: To help every employee, over time, reach their highest level of performance. Using the Situational Leadership model, managers will learn to identify specific employee behaviours that may indicate a “mismatch” between their current leadership style and the employee’s level of skill, experience and motivation.

· Supervises and manages the performance of one or more other employees (i.e. direct reports).

· Wants to optimise each employee’s productivity by providing the most effective style of leadership for each person.
