CENE Club Event: Corporate Responsibility
Allergate House, Belmont, Durham, DH1 1TW
The Government sees Corporate Responsibility as the business contribution to our sustainable development goals. Essentially it is about how businesses take account of its economic, social and environmental impacts in the way it operates – maximising the benefits and minimising the downsides.
Specifically, we see Corporate Responsibility as the voluntary actions that business can take, over and above compliance with minimum legal requirements, to address both its own competitive interests and the interests of wider society.
Following Cundall’s win at the North East Business Awards for CSR and Environment, Sustainability Partner David Clark will be presenting on reporting and benchmarking the practice’s CSR strategy. David’s roles includes providing sustainability design, advice and analysis for new and existing buildings, providing sustainability training (internally and externally), and reducing / reporting the environmental impact of Cundall’s own operations. He is a member of the BCO Environmental Sustainability Group and regular speaks at industry conferences and seminars.
